Detoxification cleanse the body of toxins. Today, our environment is toxic and the foods we eat, even the air we breathe and the water we drink is laden with chemicals foreign to our system. Therefore, everyone should undergo some type of detoxification to maintain life and health. Although basic detoxification begins with diet, the detoxification program should include nutritional fortification for the liver, lungs, kidneys, bowels, and blood.

Wheatgrass is grown from the whole kernel of winter wheat grain. It is one of nature’s richest sources of nutrition. It pulls these nutrients from the organic soil in which it is grown. It is rich in vitamins A, C, and B-17. Wheatgrass is also a source of iron, magnesium, calcium, potassium, zinc, cobalt, sodium, and phosphorus. Chlorophyll is considered to be nature’s healer, and it makes up 70% of the composition of wheatgrass. 

It can help to build the body’s oxygen-carrying potential, purifies the liver, conteracts toxins and fights disease causing bacteria. In its juice form wheatgrass is a wonderful detoxifier and cleanser. It has a sweet-peppery taste and because it is such a powerful cleansing juice you may experience nausea after drinking; this is normal and will disappear shortly. Gradually incase your intake from one to four ounces daily.
